If you are considering having a psychic reading for the first time, there are a few basic things that you should be aware of when selecting a reader. Find the right service. This step is actually is pretty easy. Most of the lager services are fairly reliable and can be trusted. Many screen their psychics, have accuracy guarantees, and are even members of the Better Business Bureau. Read the FAQs section of their site and review their policies before you sign up for a reading. Any large service that provides a written accuracy or satisfaction guarantee is in all likelihood reputable. Avoid any service that doesn’t have a clearly stated refund policy or that charges for readings via a 900 phone number. While a questionable charge to your credit card is easy to dispute, a 900 call is almost impossible to reverse and can be very difficult to dispute with your phone company.
A good service should also have a customer feedback and rating system for its psychics. Most sites allow customers who have had a reading to rate their psychics on a scale from one to five stars. They also should have a place for customers to enter a written description of their experience. If a site doesn’t have an unbiased and unedited customer rating system, it should probably be avoided. Some sites have been known to just post selected testimonials. Unfortunately, these are almost always hand selected and it is impossible to tell if they are really authentic. If you have specific question in mind though, you will probably want to do some additional research. Some psychics specialize in reading in specific areas such as relationships, careers or health issues. They can also be natural intuitives or use divinatory tools such as tarot cards, astrology, numerology or crystals. However, if you are unfamiliar with these different psychic tools and terms, don’t be too concerned. As long as you can identify a psychic who has positive reviews and who you feel can address your question, then you are probably in very good hands.
