Understanding the true power of tarot reading.
Most people who are not familiar with tarot reading mistakenly believe that it is associated with the occult or even possibly witchcraft. Admittedly, some of the tarot cards such as the Devil or Death cards do look a little sinister in nature if you are not already familiar with their actual meanings. The Devil card, for example, does not really refer to the Devil. If you look closely at the card itself, you will notice that there is actually a couple bound together pictured at the bottom the card. The true meaning of the Devil card actually refers to two co-dependent people being trapped in a controlling relationship. Likewise, the Death card is not about death or dying in the literal sense. It refers instead to the many metaphorical “deaths” or changes we might face in our lives such as the end of our childhood or a long term relationship. The positive aspect of the Death card though is that also refers to the opportunity for a fresh start or a new beginning. There are seventy-eight different cards in a tarot deck each with their own unique meanings. This is in part what makes tarot reading so fascinating.
The true power of tarot reading though rests in its ability to intuitively see deeply into our lives and find new meaning. It can shed new light on many of the issues that challenge us including some things that we may not even be consciously aware of. Once these issues are brought to our attention and are properly understood, we can then seek ways to address them. To this end, a tarot reading can also recommend positive steps we can take in our lives to resolve most types of problems.
Fortunately for us, we don’t have to learn the meanings of all seventy-eight tarot cards or even own a tarot deck for that matter to have a reading. A skilled tarot reader can provide a reading for us at a nominal cost over the phone. If you have a specific question in mind, simply ask them. If alternatively you want to explore a problem, such as finding a resolution for a troubled family member or learning how to deal with emotional issues such as stress or anxiety, these are great types of topics that can be explored in a tarot reading as well.
What a tarot reader can’t do though is tell you exactly what you should or should not do. Most tarot readers and psychics believe that everyone has a free will and because of this we must all make decisions our own decisions for ourselves. What they can do though is help you to explore an issue of concern and provide insight about your options and their foreseeable outcomes. What you ultimately decide to do with what you learn is entirely up to you.
If you have never had a tarot reading before there are a few things you can do to prepare for a reading. For one, write down your questions in advance and have a pencil and paper handy during your reading so you can take notes. Often there is a lot of information covered and it can sometimes get a little overwhelming trying to remember it all. For another, keep an open mind and let the tarot reader lead the session. It is perfectly acceptable to ask relevant questions, but for tarot reading in particular it is always best to stay on topic as much as possible so your reader can have the opportunity to finish addressing your question. Once they have finished, it is then OK to move on to a different subject.
